Situated right on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors and Coast betide between the seaside towns of Scarborough and Whitby. The Hardwick House estate extends to some 140 acres ,with its own 5 Acre wildlife lake and pedigree Highland Cattle roaming the grounds. Harwood Dale is truly stunning and known as the hidden dale of Yorkshire.
The cottages sleep a family of 5 or adults of 4 - At total 22 guests across the 5 cottage. The complex has many fixtures including Complete with private hot tub and enclosed stone garden.
We take a very modern approach to creating of the properties, but lost none of the features dating back hundreds of years in each cottage. The cottages are set in a secure court yard with high levels of security for family and young children.
The first direct reference to Harwood Dale and Hardwick House can be found in the Domesday Book and the original farm dates back to Henry 8th.Hardwick House itself dates back to 1801 and is steeped in history and arguable one of the finest country houses in the area.
This House is currently been sympathetically renovated to the highest standard and will be offered to the market shortly as a very large rental property that will accommodation up to 22 adults or a collective family (depending on Children age) of over 30.

In total we will be able to provide accommodation up to 50 and with a Church of England church in our grounds a future ideal wedding location is the plan.

It goes without saying that the surrounding scenery is a walker’s paradise part wild moorlands and golden stretches of sand and you’re ideally positioned to explore nearby Scarborough, Whitby (perfect for guests looking to sample the famous fish and chips) and villages such as Hackness, Thornton le Dale, Pickering, Hutton le Hole and Grosmont for the North York Moors Railway.(also known as Heartbeat Country).

We also to add a touch of local indulgence, we also prepare personalised welcome packs full of local produce from awarding winning butcher, Radfords of Sleights. Please don't worry about dogs as two cottages are allowed.
